My 2015 Sonata Ultimate 2.0t’s backup camera recently needed to be replaced. Anyone thinking about doing this should be warned that taking the assembly out of the trunk was a big pain. The assembly is held in place by 6 clips (one on each end and two on each long side), and you essentially have to compress all of them practically simultaneously to remove it because doing so makes it harder because it puts pressure on the other clips. Additionally, there isn’t much area inside the opening for pliers to be inserted in order to aid squeeze them. Having said that, the newly fitted camera really functions and appears better than the one that was first mounted. One of these I purchased.
