I’ve had a problem with my 2019 BMW F20’s iDrive since yesterday. The Spotify App is no longer shown in the media list when I use Bluetooth to connect my smartphone (a Samsung Galaxy A50).

With this Spotify upgrade, I am experiencing exactly the same problem. BMW has confirmed that the iDrive software has not changed. The aforementioned Spotify upgrade and the problem perfectly line up.
I received a call from BMW confirming that the latest update from Spotify is preventing users from using the app in Idrive. They informed me that we must put up with that. BMW won’t be making any more software updates. According to them, Spotify continues to function perfectly with the most recent Idrive.
