You must confirm that your computer complies with ISTA’s system and hardware requirements before configuring your ENET cable and downloading the program. The bare minimum requirements for your machine should be:

How Do I Install BimmerCode Using My BMW ENET Cable?
The Ethernet to OBD cable, often known as ENET, is a cable that is frequently used as an adapter for programming a variety of BMW vehicles, including the BMW F-Series, the new 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 7 Series, GT, X3 and the most recent BMW G-Series. Although you may use the ENET cable on an Android or iOS smartphone, a Windows computer is the ideal platform for writing with it.

Some modules take a while to start functioning after changes have been made (e.g. trunk and mirror close). Even if it appears that the right parameter (such as “nicht aktiv”) is set, try recoding the module again if it’s still not working after an hour or two.

This is my personal experience programming the BMW F series using the BMW ENET Interface Cable. Hope that was helpful.

What is the location of the software I need to check a check engine light? Only the program for checking engine codes is missing from the enet cable and coding software I already own.
