My 2013 Turbo Veloster received its initial oil change from me just now. I unplugged the filter and left it to drain for 45 minutes. According to the manual, I installed a new filter and added 4.8 quarts. It says 3.8 quarts for the GDI and 4.8 quarts for the Turbo GDI. The dipstick was about a half inch over the full mark when I examined it. I was a little worried because I had initially just drained out somewhat less than 4 quarts. Was I making a fire? Or can this car only hold 4 quarts of fuel?
After I removed 28 ounces from a plug drop, the dipstick measured accurately. I feared there may be a second oil reservoir. There is only one drain plug, the Hyundai dealership assured me when I called. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Although less expensive on average, mineral oil doesn’t last as long. Though more expensive, synthetic oil has a substantially longer shelf life.
Each automobile engine is made to operate with a particular weight of oil, which is frequently noted in the owner’s manual or on the engine oil cap. Typical types are:
0W20 5W20 5W30
Some vehicles use heavier weights, but these are rather uncommon. It’s crucial to use the oil weight that the automaker recommends for your engine; otherwise, you risk decreased fuel efficiency and long-term engine damage.
