As part of the update, every variant of the new Porsche Macan receives a power increase.
The entry-level model in the lineup is the Macan, which has a 265 horsepower (up from 245 horsepower) 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that can propel the SUV from 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds and up to 144 mph.
The Macan S substitutes a 2.9-liter twin-turbocharged V6 for this engine if you’d prefer something a little beefier.

When equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, the base models’ turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine now generates 261 horsepower and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque, which is an increase of 13 horsepower and 22 lb-ft over the 2021 model. This unit also allows for a top speed of 144 mph and a zero to 60 mph time of just 5.8 seconds (231 kph).
With the help of the 2.9-liter twin turbo V6 from the previous Macan GTS, the Macan S also gains additional power. With the Sport Chrono Package, you can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds, and the vehicle has a top speed of 160 mph. It has 375 horsepower and 383 lb-ft (519 Nm) of torque (257 kph).
The top-of-the-line 2022 Macan GTS uses the same engine as the Macan S and produces 434 horsepower and 406 pound-feet (550 Nm) of torque. It can reach 60 mph in 4.1 seconds and reach a high speed of 169 mph (272 kph), which is 2 mph faster than the 2021 Macan Turbo. The Macan GTS also has adaptive air suspension that is 15% stiffer than previously, newly calibrated dampers, and Porsche Surface Coated Brakes with red calipers.

Larger alterations will be made to the cabin. According to Autocar, the current 7.0-inch monitor has been replaced with a 10.9-inch infotainment screen and a new digital instrument panel.
Reportedly, the updated Macan will make its debut in late July. The GTS will cost more as a result of the enhancements, but not as much as the current Turbo, at least not in the UK.
