In May 2021, Porsche had stated that the all-electric Macan will be available for purchase by 2023. According to Automobilwoche, Blume disclosed the most recent plan to launch the Macan Electric in 2024 during the company’s 2022 Capital Markets Day event on July 18, 2022. In other words, the official launch date for the Macan Electric is currently set back by nearly a year.
The Macan EV project is being hampered by the problems at CARIAD. Porsche had originally intended to use the E3 2.0 software, but has since chosen to use the E3 1.2 software, according to Automobilwoche. Even the simpler version, though, is proving to be difficult.
Dr. Diess stated that E3 1.2 development is “hugely complex” when discussing Volkswagen Group’s Q1 2022 earnings and the company’s expectations for the future on May 4, 2022 (via YouTube). In the coming months, it will still be a battle, according to the former CEO of the Volkswagen Group.
Even though E3 1.2 is far more complicated than E3 1.1, I can assure you that the teams are intensely focused on the launches and that we are optimistic about launching the cars on schedule the next year.

The twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 from the 2021 Macan Turbo is transferred to the current range-topping Macan, the GTS, giving it 434 horsepower and 406 pounds-feet of torque. If you’re beginning to see a pattern, then so do we, but Porsche hasn’t, at least not yet, revealed anything that can outperform the GTS.
With the revised engines, the base model’s base 0-60 mph timings range from 5.8 seconds to 4.4 seconds to just 4.1 seconds for the GTS (all times are Porsche estimates when the Macan is equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package). Porsche’s seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard on all variants.
Standard Porsche Surface Coated Brakes and an adjustable suspension that, according to Porsche, may be up to 15% firmer than in earlier generations are also included with GTS vehicles. The dampers have also been re-calibrated, and new strut mounts and bump stops have been installed in the suspension.

- Place your purchase at least 12 weeks in advance of delivery to guarantee that you get the precise Porsche you want on the day you choose. In fewer than 12 weeks, your dealer might still be able to locate a car for you, but the choices may be constrained by production constraints. Delivery times for “special orders” with unique or unconventional interiors are dependent on the availability of the materials. Check with your dealer, please.
- The PEC Delivery Coordinator will contact the customer and dealer with a Welcome email after reviewing the Order Form, outlining more about the program and providing a window for the vehicle’s delivery. Once an order is less than two weeks from the delivery date, a cancellation fee will be charged. This will be in addition to the price of shipping the car to the dealer making the purchase.

The age range for the average person is between the early 20s and the early 40s. My wife and I are older than most people in our area. People over 50 are more likely to choose the Cayenne (although wife is under 50 ).
There are typically more men in car forums. However, ladies do occasionally post on car forums. Parenting forums are a prime example of a setting where both men and women are parents but where the majority of posters are women. I have no idea why message boards exhibit gender gravity, but it is there.
