On the M40i, 4UR is NOT standard. on ours, at least. It is a part of the Vernasca Leather set. Since we prefer Leatherette, it is not present. According to our dealer, that was standard. We accepted the package after they offered us $3000 off for the error. Currently, the MSRP for our M40i is $10,000 less.
Wow. A fantastic concession would be to take off $3,000 for no accent lighting. I wouldn’t spend more than about $800 if I had to make a solitary purchase.
Ambient lighting was not included in our car either. Before taking delivery, we called BMW Genius several times, and they affirmed it’s a standard feature.
