You may have heard some upcoming rappers use the slang term “Lemonade” while spitting out their lyrics. Is it too out of place, and do you even know what it means? In rap, lemonade refers to something altogether different.
Some rappers who drink lemonade could:
- the euphoria you experience after utilizing recreational drugs. As a euphemism, it serves.
- Any medicine taken orally can also be referred to as lemonade.
Internet Money’s song “Lemonade” is the most recent and well-known rap song to use the word “Lemonade.”

The Meaning of “Lemonade” by Beyonce in Its True Form
Beyonce shocked the music industry last weekend with the release of her 12-song music video “Lemonade” as an HBO Special. Fans questioned whether she was punishing her rapper husband Jay-Z with the eerie recitation of the Somali-British poet Warsan Shire that she performed while decked out to the nines and carrying a bat.
The song lyrics and videos of her grandmother, however, imply that there is more going on.
Another lesson from “Lemonade” is as follows: It’s acceptable for powerful Black women to express their emotions.
There is no denying that the Beyonce who gave us “Run The World” and “Single Ladies” is a powerful black lady who can succeed in everything. She is, however, frightened and overcome with remorse and grief in “Lemonade.”
Some believe it’s done to defame Jay-Z. (He is said to have romantic ties to a number of women, including singers Rita Ora and Rihanna, as well as fashion designer Rachel Roy.) However, Beyonce is setting a good example for Black women worldwide, demonstrating that it is acceptable to experience intense emotions.
It is an exploration of the range of extremely complicated feelings that follow a betrayal, including wrath, emptiness, acceptance, and forgiveness.
The mothers of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Eric Garner make an appearance in the song “Forward,” demonstrating that a spouse may betray a partner just as easily as the legal system.
Jay-Z serves as a foil in this trip, illuminating for women the path to their own individual resurrection.
Toyota – [Navvi]
Shortly after releasing his latest music video for “Easy,” Navvi is back with “Porsche,” another standout song. This is in advance of his LP “Quicksand.” J.Mixx provides Navvi with a fantastic beat to attack. It smashes and gives Navvi a great sound to rap over. Navvi is a multi-talented artist since he can rap in a variety of styles, as I’ve always mentioned. He spits bars in an energetic style on this song, which is more typical of today’s performers. However, Navvi doesn’t seem like your typical up-and-coming musician in 2017. He appears to be an experienced player who is eager to seize control. So, as we wait for his album, check out the first song, “Porsche.”
Hittin Licks by G-Eazy (Lyrics Review and Song Meaning)
On November 8, 2019, G-Eazy released his most recent EP, “Scary Nights,” which was a follow-up to his multiple EP series “B-Sides,” which was published earlier this year. The sixth song on the rapper from the Bay Area’s eight-track album is titled “Hittin Licks.”
On the same day the album debuted, G-Eazy also released a brand-new music video for the song “Hittin Licks,” and this one takes us back to the 1980s. The song video, which was directed by Daniel CZ, features a dramatic plot about a cop who turns bad due to a deadly female offender. This story has existed for ages.
To “earn a sh*t bunch of money in a short length of time” is what the Urban Dictionary defines as “hit a lick.” As a result, the song is a sincere ode to the Bonnie and Clyde type of romance. The song video is embedded below.
In the music video for the song “Hittin Licks,” a woman is seen killing her spouse and attempting to hide her traces. She somehow ends up being the primary suspect in the case, and the detective, who is G-Eazy, questions her about it. The woman frustrates the detective in the interrogation room, and he ultimately sneaks in the jail key for her escape. They meet up outside the police station and make their way into eternity. It is undoubtedly worthwhile to watch the noir-style video with solid acting.
The song’s lyrics discuss how much “fun” they would have together leading a corrupt life. G-agenda Eazy’s includes going on the road, exploring the world, doing stuff to make quick money, buying at upscale places, and even starting a family.
G-Eazy mentions “Bonnie and Clyde,” one of the most well-known couples well known for their robbery spree, in the second stanza. The phrase usually conjures up images of committed partners who will do anything for their relationship. Additionally, their names are strongly related to Eminem’s smash song “’97 Bonnie and Clyde.” This allusion may also be a nod to G-Eazy and Halsey’s 2017 collaboration, “Him & I,” which was released when they were still dating.
G-Eazy continues his rap by promising to do all and everything to keep his lover content. Rolex watches, Chanel apparel, Cartier jewelry, and 2000 roses from Venus ET Fleur, one of the most prestigious florists.
