Thanks for the excellent advice. It’s been a huge assistance, and I’m considering purchasing one!
wonderful, low-maintenance vehicle Despite only requiring premium fuel, my 2008 with 150,000 miles still runs flawlessly. I only changed the AC and alternator this year. Of course, this automobile has been the greatest thanks to oil changes every 6,000 miles and replacement batteries and tires as needed. I live near a beach, so with the salty air this is to be anticipated. The interior has some wear on the dashboard, and the outside is showing some age. STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS VEHICLE.
I used to enjoy cutting corners on my Harley, but I recently received my license back after having a stroke in 2015. I’ll be on the lookout for a fun, swift vehicle with excellent handling. Although I’ve been looking at the Z350, the G35 keeps coming up in most articles.
Since I have spent my entire life driving North American vehicles and reside in a GM town, I am 63 years old and may be missing out on some good deals on Japanese automobiles. Any advice you could give this old man would be greatly appreciated.
Two decades later, the Infiniti G35 is still a popular vehicle.
Many consumers, including obviously a large portion of younger automobile buyers, will always choose affordable power as their top option. Similar to a young person’s desire for a mid-2000s V8 Mustang or a bug-eye WRX, the G35’s attraction stems from the same source. But the G35 boasts luxurious leather, heated seats, and clever small concealed compartments in place of the cheap plastic that covers the interior of the Mustang.
Additionally, you may clutch dump the G35 and create beautiful RWD tire marks rather than stalling your vehicle while attempting an AWD burnout in a WRX.
But the G35’s pricing is by far its most alluring feature. A G35 manual coupe cost $33,000 back in 2005. However, you can now purchase one with 100,000 miles for between $5,000 and $7,000, which puts it squarely in the first-car category. It doesn’t cost much to modify a G35 either. If you purchase wisely, a cold-air intake, LED headlights, and a good exhaust shouldn’t set you back more than $2,000.
Most individuals aren’t seeking for something cozy and dependable when they browse items on Craigslist or eBay. Instead, they want to locate a collection of junk that they can alter and play with on the weekends.
The G35, however, is a genuine luxury vehicle that is cost-effectively priced at “pile of trash” levels. As a result, you can equip it with a loud exhaust, lower it, and modify it, all while enjoying a top-notch audio system and holding a supple leather steering wheel.
