For $50,380 with no TTL, I just secured one that won’t be in until November 8th. When shopping, I’ve come across markups of up to $5,000 and no actual inventory; every dealer who displayed them had already sold out and was expecting for more to arrive by the end of the year while accepting deposits. Approximately 700 Palisades of all levels have been ordered for the AZ market (18 dealers) through the end of the year, according to my “guy,” from whom I have also purchased two other Hyundais. Of those, only “supposedly” 13 are White Caligraphys with Beige interiors, with 10 pre-orders made by customers and 11 now that I have my own.
My mistake was that I did not buy them when they became available as a Limited in August of 2020. Because I didn’t want a 2021 by the time the year ended and I was prepared (for business purposes), I spent even more money on a 2022, and I’m confident that a rebody will be arriving in 2023 that I will adore. Oh, how I loathe the automobile industry at times.
