We are in a good position to add ONE’s IP to the BMW SAV lineup. Given economic viability, we are convinced that this can result in business prospects and plans to include ONE’s battery technologies into prototypes of our future BEV product line-up.
By the end of the year, BMW and ONE hope to finish the iX test car, which should have a range of roughly 600 miles (965 km) on a single charge.

The wrapping is not flawless. It’s still a touch sloppy in spots, and if you get near enough or when the color changes, you can plainly see the triangular patterns on the panels. Nevertheless, it’s still a really fascinating concept, especially given the additional use-cases BMW has listed.
Since white and black are such fundamental hues, the Flow is unable to change to another hue like blue or green. You can picture a day when that is feasible because color E Ink does exist, but for the time being, you are limited to monochrome.
Despite the fact that this technology has been used in a future BMW EV, the iX Flow is regrettably still very much a concept car. As a result, don’t plan on purchasing a color-changing SUV any time soon.
