How is Peter Thomas currently acting?
The ex-husband of Cynthia Bailey, a former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, has received a sizable federal tax lien.
Peter Thomas is allegedly being held responsible by the IRS for unpaid debts associated with his old Uptown Restaurant & Lounge, according to court records obtained by Radar.
In 2010, the Atlanta restaurant shuttered, and Thomas assigned the recession as the cause. It seems like the government is just now getting around to looking at the tax returns.
Thomas is charged with failing to pay quarterly taxes beginning in December 2008 and continuing through December 2009 in the lien. He allegedly missed 10 payments totaling $450,399.52 in all.
The IRS informs Thomas that if the debt is not paid in full right away, they may start the process of taking his property. The bill hasn’t been paid off since the lien was filed during the summer because it hasn’t been released.
After his divorce was finalized in 2017, Thomas went to Miami and opened a number of new eateries, including Bar One.
Over the past few years, Thomas has experienced financial problems, including a contentious court battle with his ex-wife.
As Radar first revealed, Bailey discreetly dropped the lawsuit accusing Thomas of not repaying a $170,000 debt in September. In 2020, the Bravo actress filed a lawsuit in an effort to get the court’s assistance in getting her money back.
According to Bailey, she loaned her ex the money on the condition that he repay the remaining amount within 36 months.
The lawsuit stated that the defendant had violated the parties’ agreement and was in default under the promissory note. Accordingly, the plaintiff was owed $170,000 in principle and interest beginning on May 27, 2020, until the note was fully paid.
Bailey also wasn’t splurging her money carelessly. She requested permission from the court in the lawsuit to foreclose on Thomas’ Atlanta property and use the proceeds to pay her debt. She even requested that Thomas cover her legal expenses.
Thomas never filed a judicial response to the lawsuit, thus it appears that a private settlement was reached between the two.

Cynthia and Peter divorce, right?
In 1992, Cynthia and Peter met while traveling from Miami to New York. They became closer and began their long-distance relationship after a few phone calls. After years of alternating between Peter’s home in Atlanta and Cynthia’s in New York, the Celebrity Big Brother contestant made the decision to remain in Atlanta with Peter and her daughter, Noelle Robinson.
Peter and Cynthia lived in Atlanta for a while before signing up for RHOA. On the program, they were open and honest about some of their problems, such as his enterprises in other locations. Viewers of RHOA may remember seeing Peter’s club, Bar One, in a number of episodes. He added three more Bar One locations in Miami and Baltimore after opening his first place. The Charlotte, North Carolina resident is also the proprietor of Sports One.

Cynthia loved the food at Bar One, but Peter claimed their divorce was due to his professional aspirations. He claimed in a 2016 interview with Power98 that his ex-girlfriend didn’t support his goals. Peter expressed his displeasure at Cynthia being on RHOA and attributed their problems to the show.
Who is Apollo now dating?
Despite the short lifespan of his marriage to Phaedra, Apollo wasted little time in seeking love once more. The former reality star is engaged to Sherien Almufti, according to Bravo. She allegedly paid him visits while he was serving his sentence and picked up the ex-reality TV star on the day he was released.
According to Apollo’s Instagram, the two are still together and have been chronicling their time in isolation.
The convicted felon was apparently residing in a halfway house prior to the announcement of his engagement until his release from federal jail on November 26. Following his second prison release in July 2019, Apollo entered the Philadelphia-area facility.
The father of two, who was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2014, was granted early release in June 2019. However, he was quickly returned to imprisonment after breaking a technical release condition, the specifics of which are yet unknown.
Late in July 2019, Apollo was let out of prison for a second time. Ayden, 9, and Dylan, 6, were “sad” and “disappointed,” according to Phaedra, when they found out their father was going back to jail.
She told DailyMailTV when Apollo was still inside, “I don’t know if I was that astonished because he is a risk taker and I just detest it because now it’s simply above all of us, only Jesus can solve it. “I cannot force him to be something he does not want to be. He must be motivated to alter.”
“My sons have been through a lot, they have seen a lot of good things, they have seen a lot of bad things, and nobody’s life is going to be perfect,” the 46-year-old continued. “So we’re just going to continue and keep our schedules as they have been and we’re going to hope and pray that Apollo can get it together.”
What was Apollo’s crime from “Housewives”?
In Atlanta, Apollo was imprisoned in January 2014. In order to “route” money via bank accounts for personal advantage, the former personal trainer’s offense was working with others to develop a money laundering plan that included Apollo stealing over 50 identities. CNN reports that it took the police four years to make an arrest in this incident. Phaedra insisted on her innocence throughout Apollo’s legal difficulties and said she had no knowledge what her husband and the father of her children, Ayden and Dylan, had done behind her back.
Apollo admitted guilt to conspiring to conduct mail, wire, and bank fraud in May 2014, and a judge later gave him a 96-month jail term—eight years in all. He really apologized for his part in the crime while he was in court.
According to The Daily Dish, Apollo said in court, “[I take] full responsibility for his acts.” “I put myself in a stupid situation, so in the end, I’m to blame. I was swept in, enveloped, and lost track of everything.”
