It’s undoubtedly more comfortable than the Mercedes GLS, which experiences harsh thuds and bumps inside when traveling over the same terrain as an X7. It’s not flawless, though; larger potholes can still cause the car to tremble little but noticeably, which doesn’t happen in the more affordable Q7.
On curving roads, especially tight ones, the BMW X7 feels its bulk much more keenly than the smaller BMW X5. You may be concerned that you will continue moving forward like an ocean liner when you turn the steering wheel because it takes the nose some time to respond.
Thankfully, the X7 does alter its trajectory, and there is significant body lean when it does. Although the Land Rover Discovery and Mercedes GLS are even more cumbersome, it makes the Q7 feel gloriously light on its toes.

By gradually rotating the rear wheels in the opposite direction as the front ones for a smaller turning circle, the optional four-wheel steering substantially facilitates maneuverability at low speeds. If you drive around town a lot, it is an absolute must.

The BMW X8 from 2022 is already proving to be the brand’s most opulent and sophisticated vehicle to date. BMW recently debuted the top-of-the-line X8 at the LA auto show on November 29, 2021. An entry-level X8 model and a potent X8 M variant were both included in the preview. The BMW X8 vehicle, which debuts in 2022, is a more opulent and sporty variant of the BMW X7.
The new BMW sports fresh styling cues, including a pointed snout and a roofline with a somewhat squared-off border that slots it between the X7 and the coupe X6 model.
