Hello to everybody. This is my first post as a new user of the boards. I recently upgraded to a 2016 Q50S with tech from a 2009 G37XS (with over 250,000 miles on it). It appears to be a fantastic enhancement. As far as setup and functioning go, I have so far discovered a few changes. Since they are a bit scattered, I listed them under general discussion.

-I keep getting a “Maintenance Other” Warning that won’t go away. All of the choices for maintenance notifications are off, since I’ve checked them all. Even after I reset every notification, it still exists.

I am unable to set up my homelink to save my arse. Push the homelink button for 2 seconds a few times after pushing the rolling code type garage door opener button on every other automobile. No go. To empty it out first, I even pressed both of the outside buttons until they began to flicker.

-I was able to use my high beams while driving my G37 while the headlights were on automatic. On this particular automobile, it appears that moving the stalk forward only disables the driving lights. The headlights need to be turned on several clicks at a time if I want high beams.

-The dealer informed me that I could simultaneously display the birds-eye view on the bottom screen and the rear view camera on the upper screen when I’m in reverse. I tried every setting in the camera and screen priority section without success.

I haven’t actually done any research on any of these, but today I will. It was just my “hello” email and my observations up to that point.

Anyway, it’s a 2016 Q50S in black with all the extras, I believe, and the tech package. I’m enjoying it so far!
