The engine air filter change for the 2016+ VR30 is simple, but I couldn’t find a video on the 2015 VQ37 air filter change:
By unhooking the two spring clips on the top of the cover, the driver’s side air cleaner cover may be removed. To release the two tabs (pawl) on the bottom of the cover, tilt it back and pull up. To remove the filter from the air cleaner body, push the cover back far enough. By lining up the seal with the notch in the air cleaner body, you may install the replacement air cleaner filter. Assemble in reverse.
The metal fuel tube guard plate prevents access to the passenger-side air filter cover. The protector plate is attached by two mounting bolts, but they just need to be back out by about 10 mm to allow the plate to slide out of the way so that the process is the same as for the driver’s side filter. After reclipping the air cleaner cover onto the air cleaner body, tighten the protector plate bolts.
