I’m attempting to remove the alternator from my wife’s FX35. To date, I’ve removed the tension pulley, the under bracket, and the two bolts on the alternator’s top front. I’m having difficulties removing the two electrical connections. The smaller of the two connectors has a gray plastic plug that I can’t seem to get a decent hold of to remove. Any recommendations? Simply because the smaller connector is in the way, I haven’t reached the larger of the two connectors. Is the larger connector fastened to the generator using screws?
