With the Macan T ready to make its appearance later this year, Porsche has revealed that a new version of its most popular model will soon be available for purchase.
The Macan T, which slots into the 2022 Porsche lineup between the base model Macan and the V6 bi-turbo Macan S, has the same turbocharged four-cylinder engine as its less expensive counterpart but adds a slew of new features and aesthetic changes.
Although the 2.9-liter, V6 bi-turbo Macan S is $14,300 more expensive than the Macan T, which starts at $91,500 before on-road charges, the Macan T is $6700 cheaper than the basic Macan.
The Porsche Active Suspension Management system, springs, and stiffer front anti-roll bar all work together to reduce the Macan’s ride height by 15 millimeters when compared to the basic model. Adaptive air suspension further lowers the Macan’s height by an additional 10 millimeters.
According to Porsche, the Macan T can be chosen in 13 different exterior colors, with high gloss black window trimmings and side badges that contrast with the car’s primary colors.
Eight-way electrically adjustable, heated sports seats with the Porsche crest etched in the headrests are available for front-row passengers inside the cabin. The outside rear seats and front seat centers are also available with Sport-Tex stripes that stand out against the exterior paint finish’s black color.
Porsche’s multifunction GT heated leather sports steering wheel is in front of the driver; Race-Tex fabric is an additional. The Sport Chrono stopwatch is also a standard feature, placed in the middle of the dashboard.
The revised 10.9-inch Porsche Communication Management infotainment system for the 2022 Macan range was introduced last year with Apple CarPlay; however, it’s believed the SUV is missing out on more recent revisions that added Android Auto.

Is the Macan a car for women?
