“It is therefore quite difficult to determine how much margin they have. We are aware of our margin, but we are unaware of how much their gains are being concealed.”
Binotto believes that Ferrari must be aggressive in its upgrade push despite downplaying the season’s opening-day prospects.
I believe that we should constantly take a step further, he remarked. “You cannot possibly be self-confident at all, and I believe you should constantly work to advance and better yourself in F1.
“We are aware that our rivals are extremely powerful and have shown themselves to be extremely quick.
“At the opening race, I anticipate they will be in the lead. For us, the goal is to test them as much as we can. If we can fight well alongside them, that will be fantastic, at least for the beginning of the season. For the remainder of the season, though, progress will be crucial.”
