Ferrari has addressed rumors that Kim Kardashian is not permitted to purchase one of their high-end vehicles.
The Kardashians have been spotted driving a variety of customized luxury cars over the years. Kendall Jenner enjoys collecting pricey vintage automobiles, Kylie Jenner has at least three Rolls-Royces, and Kim’s car collection is estimated to be worth $3.8 million. Even the Rolls-Royce, Lamborghini, and Maybach Sedan that Kim loves the most have been wrapped in gray to match her home.
But in case you were unaware, there has long been a rumor that A-listers like Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian have been forbidden from purchasing Ferraris. Apparently, the famed Italian automobile brand has tight guidelines on who may really purchase their vehicles, regardless of how wealthy you are.
Ferrari has a reputation to keep, thus it’s a big no-no for owners to modify or sell their vehicles in the first year. For instance, Justin bought a white Ferrari 451 in 2015 and immediately took it to West Coast Customs to have the color changed. Then he auctioned it off, which is considered heresy in the world of premium automobiles.
Kim has apparently joined the list of famous people who have been blacklisted for “not taking care of their Ferraris,” according to the Italian newspaper Il Giornale. There are rumors that other famous people, like 50 Cent, are on the blacklist.
Although a specific incident involving Kim hasn’t been cited, the entrepreneur was last spotted in 2012 driving a brand-new Ferrari. It’s unclear whether she or her now-divorced husband Kanye West owned the car.
A wealthy Malaysian businessman gave Kim a white $325,000 Ferrari 458 Italia in 2011 as a wedding gift after her tragic weddings to Kris Humphries.
After much discussion about it online, Ferrari reiterated their stance on Kim owning Ferraris and stated that no customers are prohibited. Kim is still able to acquire models from series manufacturing, but she is not able to purchase exclusive models or limited editions.
Ferrari said in a statement to the Spanish newspaper Marca that it “reserves the right to decide on special editions.”
Please keep Kim in your prayers and thoughts as she will only be able to travel in a Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, or Maybach.

Ferrari Also Banned Justin Bieber
Ferrari famously placed Justin Bieber on their prohibited list. The musician broke “the Maranello house’s highly-respected ethical code of car maintenance with his 2011 F458 Italia,” according to Boss Hunting, which led to the judgment. After a crazy night out, he apparently misplaced his car at the Montage Hotel’s parking lot in Beverly Hills. Three weeks later, he got the automobile back. Before the incident, he’d only possessed it for a few months. Bieber afterwards “hit up California’s West Coast Customs to refit a Liberty Walk body kit, as well as to cover the original white paint job with some electric blue,” according to a report.
The unlawful change didn’t sit well with Ferrari. According to Novella Toloni of Il Giornale, Justin Bieber also changed the alloy wheels, the visible bolts, and the color of the Prancing Horse symbol on the steering wheel from the customary red to electric blue. However, the pop star’s attempt to donate his Ferrari 458 Italia without the automaker’s consent to a charity auction is what finally led to his expulsion. According to Ferrari regulations, an owner cannot sell their car during the first year and must notify the company before doing so after that, according to The Times. “in order to provide the business the option of purchasing it back. Additionally undesirable are unauthorized alterations.”
The Kardashians aren’t allowed to purchase Ferrari vehicles.
Ferrari has the right to prevent anyone, including the Kardashians, from purchasing one of their vehicles.
Nicholas Cage, 50 Cent, and Justin Bieber join the Kardashians on a list that prohibits people from purchasing specific Ferrari special editions.
They have addressed the widely discussed subject in order to dispel any rumors regarding what that would imply and to prevent a stain on the reputation of the automobile makers.
Although some people might believe that these superstars are absolutely off-limits, the truth is that there are some restrictions on working with them that, if broken, would remove you from VIP lists that would otherwise allow you to purchase special edition cars.
The most significant restriction they have is that clients cannot sell the vehicle or make significant alterations to it within the first year.
The vehicle had a white exterior and white rims when the Canadian musician bought it, but a few weeks later, he drove it to West Coast Customs to entirely transform its appearance. He then put the car up for auction in 2017.
Dealers for Ferrari won’t just sell you a car at random
Even purchasing a basic new Ferrari model involves a ton of absurd ceremony and drama. There are many stories of laws and rules that justify Ferrari’s refusal to sell you a brand-new vehicle. Simply possessing the money won’t be enough.
For “financial stability” concerns, a Ferrari dealer allegedly won’t consider you as a serious potential customer until you appear to be over 40. In addition, you must be well-regarded by the general population, which is a challenge that many superstars encounter.
Ferrari has no interest in changing its ways because of its enormous profit margins. A Ferrari far outperforms the next car in line in terms of earnings per vehicle. Therefore, the corporation has no ambition to grow vehicle manufacturing and sales. It is much more concerned with maintaining the brand’s exclusivity and upper-crust prestige.
So, even while it’s amusing to see which celebs might not be able to afford a brand-new Ferrari, there’s some bad news. I doubt you do either!
Due to her history of modifying Ferraris, Kim K is on a no-buy list.
She is one of the most well-known individuals on the planet, a model, a lawyer, an entrepreneur, and no, she still isn’t able to afford this Ferrari. Kim Kardashian is reportedly prohibited from purchasing specific models and limited edition cars from the auto magnate, according to an interview with a Ferrari representative conducted by the Spanish magazine Marca. The representative stated that Ferrari “reserves the right to decide on special editions.”
The agent clarified that, despite this restriction, Kim is still permitted to purchase ordinary models and that no customer is expressly prohibited from acquiring any Ferraris. Celebrities must show that they are “not taking care of their Ferraris” by making custom modifications in order to be placed on Ferrari’s no-buy list. Nicolas Cage, 50 Cent, and Justin Bieber are also said to be on the list; the latter had a white 451 model’s color changed by West Coast Customs. Unknown is the precise rationale behind the ban on Kim.
Kim hasn’t been seen with a Ferrari in a while, but she was caught with one in 2012 (although it’s unclear if it was hers or her ex-husband Kanye West’s), and she received a Ferrari as a wedding gift from a Malaysian businessman in 2011. However, Kim has amassed quite a collection of vehicles in various categories. Her favorite vehicles include a custom Lamborghini Urus (so we know she customizes, hmm…), a Rolls-Royce Ghost, and a Maybach sedan. In her cover story for Vogue in February of last year, she included these babies.
With such unfortunate news, we express our condolences to Kim Kardashian and wish her luck in finding another premium vehicle to replace her Ferrari.
Ferrari reportedly dislikes Kim Kardashian as a customer.
Kim Kardashian is the most well-known and prosperous celebrity who had a contentious beginning in show business. Her estimated net worth in 2022 is $1.8 billion, which includes her many businesses but excludes the larger Kardashian brand that she practically created on her own.
Kim Kardashian can’t have one thing in this world, no matter how affluent she is—and let there be no doubt, she is very wealthy. As the phrase goes, money can buy anything, but it won’t be able to purchase a limited-edition Ferrari if the Italian supercar manufacturer doesn’t want to.
Ferrari has reportedly prohibited Kim Kardashian from purchasing one of its vehicles since at least 2016, in one form or another. According to a well-known (urban myth? ) set of guidelines and criteria Ferrari uses to decide which high-profile public figure to turn into a customer, Kim fails this test.
We’ve heard over the years that Ferrari banned Kim because she acquired a Ferrari as a wedding gift from a notorious financial scammer who was on the run in 2011, or that they believed the connection between the two businesses would somehow devalue their reputation. The allegation resurfaced earlier this month, claiming that Kim’s recent obsession with customizing cars was the reason Ferrari decided to add her to the infamous blacklist.
This time, though, the report gathered so much internet traction that the automaker itself decided to respond, according to Paper Mag. A Ferrari spokeswoman emphasized in a statement that the company only “reserve[d] the right to decide on special editions” by exercising its veto over existing Ferrari customers, not that it had “banned” individuals from purchasing its automobiles. In other words, Kim might purchase a production model if she so desired, but it is doubtful that she will be considered for a limited-edition Ferrari.
Since Kim isn’t mentioned in Ferrari, it follows that either she can buy a Ferrari or can’t, depending on your perspective. However, there is an adage in show business that also holds true in this situation: there is never smoke without fire. Smoke would be Kim’s garage full with Lamborghinis, Cadillacs, and Rolls-Royces, all customized to her exact specifications, but not a single Ferrari. However, if she is expelled, she can cry on that silly, furry, fluffy Urus and wipe her millionaire tears away.
Ferrari Exposes the Reality of the Rumored Kardashian and Justin Bieber Ban
Most companies adore having high-profile celebrities as customers. It can be very beneficial for sales and a brand’s prestige image to have these famous people photographed with its merchandise. Ferrari is a little picky about how its products are viewed and understood, though. According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, this has given rise to claims that the corporation has blacklisted celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber, but the reality is more nuanced.
There have occasionally been “lists” of celebrities that Ferrari has forbidden from acquiring its cars, according to a number of media sites. In a recent list published by Zyri, names including Floyd Mayweather, 50 Cent, Kim Kardashian, and popular Canadian musician Justin Bieber were mentioned as having been placed on the Italian automaker’s “blacklist.”
Such prohibitions are frequently justified by the perception of a lack of respect for the exquisite automobiles produced by the Italian stable. Artists like Justin Bieber have a history of driving Ferraris that have undergone extensive visual alterations, allegedly in violation of the company’s desires. In the end, it’s simple to believe: Famously, Deadmau5 received a cease and desist letter for his “Purrari” build with a Nyan Cat theme. Outside of mods, it’s commonly believed that displaying the company’s automobiles in an unfavorable light or driving erratically are ways to annoy Ferrari.
However, the Italian automaker clarified the situation’s reality in a statement to Marca. The business does not explicitly forbid anyone from purchasing its vehicles. Everyone on these lists, including Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, and pretty much everyone else, is more than capable of walking into any Ferrari dealership tomorrow and selecting a vehicle.
In actuality, blacklisting these celebrities would be extremely challenging even if the business wanted to. Automobiles could be bought directly from a company, registered in the names of assistants, or even purchased off the near-new used market.
In actuality, getting a hold of a set of keys for one of Ferrari’s limited edition cars is only tough for the riff-raff. These vehicles, like the La Ferrari or the Enzo that came before them, have always been made in small quantities with priority given to chosen customers.
In fact, it’s said that owners must go by a set of criteria in order to have access to the best cars coming out of Maranello. A list prepared by AutoEvolution states that one must own a number of ordinary Ferraris and exactly 0 Lamborghinis. Ferrari must also be consulted before limited-edition vehicles are resolved, and the firm has a poor view of anyone who publicly criticizes its goods.
Given that members of the Kardashian family are notorious for covering SUVs in revolting materials, such as white fluff and black velour, Ferrari’s position may be comprehensible. After all, just consider how the purists would recoil at seeing a LaFerrari Aperta covered in yellow fur and wearing eyelashes.
Ferrari’s guarded stance regarding these vehicles was highlighted by the brand’s response to Marca, which read, “Ferrari reserves the right to decide on special editions.” Even while celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber might not be able to purchase the finest, most exclusive Ferrari goods, they are more than welcome to buy from series production like any other commoner.
