It has a characteristic Nissan sweet-revving engine, whereas the diesel engine in this situation is a little gruff and noisy.
Petrol engines are also the best option in the long run when it comes to maintenance if engine trouble should arise. If the common-rail diesel components break as mileage creeps over 200 000 km, they are expensive to replace.

A trailer can a Nissan NP200 tow, right?
Although the Nissan weighs 1055 kg more than the Hyundai, which has a kerb weight of 912 kg, it is for good cause. The NP200 is more likely to carry a higher load due to the additional weight. The NP200 can handle a weight of 800 kg, compared to the Grandi10 Cargo’s 350 kg.
The load volume capacity of the NP200 is 1250L, which is marginally higher than that of the Cargo. The Nissan can also pull a braked trailer up to 650 kg in weight. A tow bar cannot be installed on the Cargo. The Nissan has 22mm greater ground clearance than the Grandi10, or 177mm, which could be helpful when the bakkie is loaded and a speed bump needs to be navigated.
Both cars have seating for two, but the Cargo’s cabin is easier to operate. Front electric windows, a CD player, AUX and USB ports, a Bluetooth-enabled media system, and an onboard trip computer are all included. Unless you choose a higher-spec model, this NP200 does not offer all of the features.
NP200 has front-wheel drive, right?
Given that the new NP200 has front-wheel-drive, it has done away with not only a rear axle and a propshaft, but also cart springs in the back thanks to its basic beam axle, which is mounted on coil springs.

The ride quality of the NP200 was better than we had anticipated, and the car felt rather agile around turns and uneven road conditions didn’t significantly upset the suspension. On the highway, the ICE Edition felt at ease traveling at the posted speed limit, albeit occasionally downshifting was necessary to maximize the engine’s performance while passing. However, the Nissan had satisfactory performance for the most part. Under full load, performance will probably drop, but 200 Nm of torque should make things a little better.
The NP200 features a spacious load bay, and the ICE Edition comes equipped with a tonneau cover.
Practicality. The back tub of the ICE Edition is rubberized and large enough to carry a variety of objects. The loading space is 1.8 meters long and 0.5 meters deep, and we had no trouble moving a number of surfboards to the beach. The typical tonneau cover is also useful because it conceals your cargo well from view. The NP200 ICE Edition is a two-seater bakkie, making it unsuitable for family use, but ideal for small business owners or lone private buyers.
better looks. The aging NP200 is not particularly attractive in its conventional form, and the ICE Edition breathes new life into an otherwise lifeless product. An aluminum nudge bar, sports bar, specially designed 15-inch alloy wheels, and ICE decals around the rear wheel arches and tailgate are among the features added to the ICE Edition. Bright Silver and Starling Blue are the available colors for the ICE Edition, which comes included with smash-and-grab dark tinting. All of these changes improve the NP200’s appearance and give it a much more appealing appearance.
If appearance is important to you, the ICE Edition should be noticeably more appealing than the base NP200 and possibly even the Chevrolet Utility.
