Hello, just purchased a 2015
six-series x-drive gran coupe. a lovely ride I recently noticed that the sunroof won’t open. The sunroof moves up and down if I click the middle button, but it doesn’t open when I touch it again. Any ideas as to what the issue might be?
Only a tilt function, not a slide, is available on the 6 sunroof. The sunshade is operated by back/front sliding the button.

Hello everyone. I’m ready to purchase a 2013; for that reason. The sliding blind (sorry, I’m not sure of the appropriate name if there is one) on the sunroof does not work. Does anyone have any clue how difficult it would be to fix it? Although I am aware that sunroofs are pricey, I was hoping that since this is only a blind, it could be simpler.
I can re-calibrate the roof/blinds on the brand other than BMW that I often work on using the OBD socket. Instead of making use of the button inputs, it transmits a signal through the LIN.
Usually, the client can duplicate this. Although it has been a long since I did it, I tend to remember that you hold the close button(s) in for about 30 seconds. The roof/blind performs a complete open/close cycle. Remove your finger from the button(s) when everything stops.

Sixth-generation vehicles never featured movable sunroofs before the e63/e64 versions. The quantity of room for sliding a roof was constrained by the vast glass surface and sloping roof-line. The vehicle would have been more heavier and would have had less headroom. In that I hardly ever fully opened the sunroof on my 5 series, I am more like your wife. If you wanted air in the standard 6 series, you could have the convertible.

BMW made numerous changes to the roof, however the issue persisted even after upgrades to the Integration level S15A/18A-19-07-553 of the software. Finally, they suggested simply performing a reset each time the error manifested. This always got it running again for 4 to 6 weeks before requiring a reset once more. Now that it is out of warranty, it won’t reset, and the fault code 030207 indicates that the Raise/Tilt motor’s Hall Effect Sensors A and B aren’t working. Since the Hall Effect Sensors cost PS500 each and installation costs another PS1000, why didn’t they look into this while it was still under warranty? Although I need to remove the module to test it, I truly think the Roof FZD Module lacks power. Please, someone explain to me how to uninstall the FZD Module.
