Apple CarPlay and an SD card slot are not available in my 2016 Sonata. How would I upgrade the software so that Apple CarPlay will work on it? When I contacted Mapnsoft, they informed me that they only offer SD cards for map updates. I’m being led around by Hyundai and multiple dealerships to “do it yourself.”
Has anyone experienced this issue? Or do you know how I can get apple carplay installed in the system or upgrade the car’s software?

The good news was that Hyundai had already made plans to include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in its 2015 lineup, which included the brand-new Sonata at the time.
