When compared to the competition, the QX80’s infotainment system is out of date and needs to be updated. However, the UI seems and looks out of place with the rest of the QX80. The 8-inch touch screen is simple to operate, and you can activate a hotspot to share the Internet connection. Additionally, neither Apple CarPlay nor Android Auto are supported, which would help people accept the shortcomings of this system.

If customers select the appropriate options in the proper sequence when ordering base versions, the majority of the features available on the Limited trim level can be added a la carte. Our value selection for the QX80 is therefore the base model, where active safety features and four-wheel drive may keep the large SUV within a reasonable price range of $75,000 to $80,000.
The QX80’s infotainment system, which feels like VHS in comparison to comparable high-definition displays, cannot be improved by spending more money. A multitude of buttons underneath that occasionally duplicate the functions of other buttons only serve to exacerbate its problems. Although it’s not a deal-breaker, the moment it leaves the dealer’s lot, it becomes out of date.
