The last six winters I’ve driven a Cayman (981 for five, 718 last year), and our weather is at least as chilly as yours. There are a few restrictions, but Cayman is fantastic and entertaining in the winter.
When it’s bad, I drive my Genesis sedan. If the sky is clear or if there is fresh snow, the Cayman emerges for some donuts. My worries are other drivers, especially the idiots in all-season SUVs, and the Cayman’s limited ground clearance, especially when it comes to plow debris. My crescent-shaped neighborhood isn’t given much emphasis when it comes to snow removal. It is forbidden to cross the nearby street’s plow dump. But now that I’m retired, I occasionally consider selling the Genesis because I no longer have to drive in inclement weather. I’m contemplating purchasing a Macan as well, which would make an excellent winter vehicle.
You don’t solely depend on the Porsche for transportation because you have another vehicle. I would attempt it. OR purchase a Macan!
