All of the barn findings have been located. The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO is the one that is currently taking the longest to unlock. Are there any requirements I must meet before this car will unlock?
It takes some time, but it’s just for fun, and it’s the most expensive automobile in the game. The Barn Find menu at least allows you to keep tabs on the development.
The cutest little beast ever. If I’m not mistaken, it appears to have the legendary hands-free steering of a Ferrari, which pulls to one side when you accelerate. It has a deceptive amount of power and is quite simple to lose control of, though I’m not sure if it pulls to the other side when you brake.
The next time I drive it, I’m going to put some new tires on it. I’ve found that I prefer just a bit extra grip after playing this game nonstop for the past week. Need the ability to steer the car around a mild arc and make the tires slip in case I need to use the e-brake to turn the corner too quickly.
I just got it to unlock this morning. It took roughly 15 in-game hours to unlock, if I recall correctly.

Not Being Repaired Barn Find
The last barn discovery I discovered was a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO, but it has been in repair for nearly a week. Is this a bug? No other barn find I’ve made has taken as long to become available. Does anyone else have this problem? And if I want to restore it right away, it will cost 11,666,000 CR to do so!
similar here I have that Ferrari and another one that are both in need of repair. They have been playing for more than ten hours and have made absolutely no progress. I’m curious if you have to finish stories or something similar. I’ve been concentrating just on my weekly challenges.
Even though it might not appear to be moving forward, if you look at the credits needed to skip the restore process, you’ll notice that they are (slowly) decreasing. It felt like a lifetime, but I could still tell that it wasn’t glitched. I believe it was the third last barn discovery I found, but it was by far the last to be restored (and from memory there has always been a similar car in previous Horizons that takes forever to restore).
The speed at which the autos mend increases with game play and experience. However, the last one can still be laborious. I worked on the fix for almost five days.
Go complete some Horizon Story activities. Progress on the barn find’s repairs, in my opinion, is correlated with narrative development.
How to locate and restore Barn Finds vehicles in Forza Horizon 5
Unfortunately, you can’t just start looking for Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 5 at the beginning of the game. You must first obtain a rumor from one of the numerous representatives of the Horizon Festival, such as Alex or Alejandra. Some of these rumors can be obtained through alternative methods, such as purchasing the La Cabana property in the northwest corner of the map, which grants you access to a Barn Find rumor. The majority of these rumors seem to be connected to your progress through the Forza Horizon 5 Horizon Adventure campaign. The last few minutes before finishing the Horizon Adventure, we were able to collect all 14 Barn Finds. Once you have a rumor, look for the sizable purple circle with the barn emblem on your map. You need to move over to that part of the map since the barn is someplace inside this purple circle.
From here, look around the region highlighted on your map for the actual barn. You are seeking a white structure with yellow front doors. When you find one, approach it to start a sequence in which your character and a Horizon representative enter the barn to discover a rusted car that needs immediate restoration. Even after you pick up the car, the position of the barn will still be visible on your map so you can identify exactly which automobile came from which barn. Additionally, you can send and receive gift cars from other players by using empty barns.
The vehicle will enter your collection after being rescued, but it won’t be useable until it has been fixed. While this takes time, it can be sped up by purchasing in-game Credits (CR) to fix the car right now. The CR value of the required repairs determines how long it will take to restore an automobile, with the cost of repairs serving as a type of timer as they get cheaper with time.
While the Ferrari 250 GTO will require several hours and more than 30 million CR to restore, certain vehicles, like the GMC Jimmy, may be fixed in less than an hour for less than 100,000 CR. When the car is completely fixed, an in-game message will let you know so you can collect and use it. You must go to one of your houses and enter the Barn Finds page under the “Garage” option in order to pick up a fixed Forza Horizon 5 Barn Find vehicle. Any restored vehicles will announce their readiness to be purchased on their icon.
The locations of each of the 14 Barn Finds are shown here, but you can also read our Forza Horizon 5 advice if you don’t need all the guidance. Some of these, like turning on drone mode and cleaning up the map, will definitely make it easier for you to locate these barns.
The locations of all 14 Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds in Mexico, along with the automobiles they hold, are shown below. Use the map graphics below for quick access to the barns as the player icon is shown at the beginning of the dirt road that leads there. Despite the possibility that you unlock the cars in a slightly different order, the automobiles are listed in the order that we unlocked them.
F40 Competizione by Ferrari
Ferrari has secured two out of the top 15 slots with the 1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione, another classic race car on the Forza Horizon 5 Barn Finds list. The F40 Competizione, which opens the PR Stunt-focused Horizon Rush Festival location, was visible close to the Rush Expedition. Other than time and location, there don’t seem to be any more prerequisites to unlock it.
The F40 Competizione Barn Find is hidden in the jungle on the opposite side of the map, despite the neighboring Expedition constructing an outpost in the canyon biome. Due to the dense vegetation and nearby trees, even with the drone it was a little difficult to locate. Fortunately, you may use the map above to locate it precisely. It did take some time to rebuild the 1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione, but not quite as long as the other Ferrari Barn Find.
Weight
The F40 was the road-going product that replaced the 288 GTO Evolution when Group B racing was discontinued; however, Ferrari considered racing the F40 due to the promising mechanicals and lightweight construction of the car. They turned to their long-time constructor of competition cars, Michelotto, to convert the F40 into Competizione spec. From the outside, the differences are subtle:
