The soon-to-be-released Kia Sonet, the newest competitor in the sub-4m SUV market, has already captured many people’s attention with its striking appearance. Although reservations have not yet been made available, Kia has stated that there will be a total of 11 exterior paint options available for the Sonet: eight monochromatic and three dual-tone. It makes sense why it is the new Sonet’s hero color. Particularly with the red accents in the GT Line edition, the red paint highlights the athletic appearance of the Kia sub-4m SUV. It is an eye-catching yet elegant color.
Red is the sportiest color. Black with a red roof. Since Kia has given the Sonet a more aggressive look, we anticipate that higher variants will be very popular with this dual-tone paint option.

Returning to Kia’s more colorful selections, we get the lively and vibrant Intelligency Blue. It has a weird name, but it’s a nice color option for the Sonet, and it even makes me think of one of the Hyundai Creta’s hero colors. Both the Tech Line and GT Line variations seem fantastic.
The Sonet’s online configurator does not actually feature this color, but we have spotted it as an iMT option. The Seltos from Kia also come in the same colour. The Sonet looks well in this tastefully vibrant color option, just like its larger sibling. Not everyone prefers the Punchy Orange, but those who want vibrant and upbeat paint colors will be glad to have the choice.
The Tech Line variations of the Sonet will have a dual-tone black and beige interior, while the GT Line trim will have an all-black interior with red stitching on the upholstery.
The Sonet is anticipated to go on sale in late August or early September from Kia. Once reservations are formally available, we’ll probably have confirmation of the variant choices and color combinations that will be provided.
What are the Kia Sonet’s drawbacks?
The similarities between the Sonet and the Kia Seltos are immediately apparent as soon as you step into the cabin. The new Kia Sonet’s air conditioner performs admirably. Although we were photographing this vehicle in sweltering heat, the air conditioning system is capable of quickly cooling the interior. The SUV also has air conditioning vents for the backseat occupants. A touchscreen is used to control the new Kia Sonet’s integrated air purifier with virus protection.
Comfort of the Chair
This SUV’s primary flaw is that it was designed just to seat four persons. In actuality, a person who is six feet tall won’t find it comfortable. The rear passenger space is cramped, but the front seats are fine. There is extremely little room for back passengers’ legs since it can only fit two adults of ordinary height and a child. The larger profile inside did not correspond to the outside in terms of space. A person of average height can sit upright because to the excellent headroom.

Can I use Sonet for a long drive?
I’ve had this Sonet for 8 months and have logged 15000 miles in it. 15500 kilometers of driving experience I’ve had. a hybrid of my old automobile and this sonet.
When it comes to driving, it’s a great drive on the highway with superb braking and stability. Suspension is more difficult. The cushioning effect is good at high speeds, but if we drive slowly through a city, the pothole feels more impact-like.
So long as there are good roads, city driving is good.
However, you will experience physical agony if your roads are bad.
Regarding mileage, I achieve 13 km/l in the city and 14.8 km/l on the highway when maintaining a speed of 100 to 110 km/h with regular fuel.
If you use speed petrol, v power from Shell, or xp95 from Indian Oil, your city millage will be 14.5 and your highway millage will be 19+; but, if you maintain an 80 to 90 km/h pace, your millage will be 20 km/l.
Excellent in the first and second rows for comfort. Given that my family member is about 5.3 feet tall, there was no discomfort. However, a long ride with 5 people is not advised. (any journey lasting longer than 4 hours)
Service – completed with two free services thus far. no issues, one paid service. Oil changes, routine inspections, repairs, and other chargeable services cost $4700 per 10000 kilometers. No service-related issues to date
Safety-wise, it has EBD and ABS. Since I was able to stop in time both times, ABS and EBD are good.
Since IMT has excellent technology, gear shifts are seamless. best for city driving and manual transmission. No problems with shifting gears.
Sound insulation in the cabin is good, same like in other automobiles. No noise at all if you keep your speed between 80 and 90. But if you travel any further, you’ll hear some road and tire noise. That is clearly apparent.
Bose’s audio system is a great one. no words In the end, everything is a matter of perspective. I enjoy it.
What SUV is superior to the Kia Sonet?
As it is, a petrol engine is available for every vehicle in the compact-SUV sector. The Mahindra XUV300 is the only vehicle that cannot be ordered with an automatic transmission for its petrol engine. All of the costs are listed below.

The price difference grows as we move up the range, but even so, the top-spec Kia is also better equipped. The top-spec Sonet GTX+ trim (Rs 12.89 lakh) is a startling Rs 1.43 lakh more expensive than the top-end Venue 1.0 SX+ AT.
