Other amenities on the Seltos include a motorized driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, a 360-degree parking camera, and even an inbuilt air purifier. The comfort of the front seat is excellent, although the rear seat does lose some points for having a little less thigh support. The Seltos gives lots of space and features like a retractable back rest and retractable sun visors help improve the rear seat experience, despite not being the roomiest SUV for the money. Even though we haven’t tested every engine-gearbox combination available, the 1.5 diesel manual and the 1.4 turbo-petrol auto left us highly satisfied. The 115 horsepower diesel performs admirably and with great refinement. It is also simple to live with thanks to a smooth gearbox and a well-balanced clutch. The 140 horsepower, 1.4 turbo-petrol is a suitable complement for those seeking a lively ride. The engine is robust, dependable, and highly appealing. The fast and quick-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is also good. Paddleshifters are what are absent. Driving the Kia Seltos is simple. At higher speeds, the steering weights up adequately and needs a respectable amount of effort. Additionally, the ride comfort is good, with good low-speed bump absorption and assured high-speed behavior.

The K5 contrasts sharply with the Optima’s smooth lines, having strong creases all over the exterior and a sloping, coupe-like shape. The optional 2.5-liter turbo-four gives plenty of power for a car this size and is quite the handler in GT configuration. However, the ride quality is on the harsher side, and the powertrain and steering are unimpressive in lesser versions. Even if the material quality looks to be inadequate, interior design is strong. The K5 is middle of the pack as a whole.

The flagship Kia Stinger receives a midcycle facelift for 2022, four years after making its debut for the 2018 model year. First off, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder base engine has been replaced with a 2.5-liter turbo-four with 300 horsepower, which produces 45 extra horses.
