How To Change Time In Volkswagen Jetta 2018

There are a lot of things about DST that we dislike, but one of the things that aggravates us the most is probably having to remember the time on every clock in our lives. However, if you follow these easy procedures, changing your time won’t take more than a few seconds:

  • Press the button on your instrument cluster to the right with the ignition on. The Beetle features it beneath the speedometer, but other cars have a Menu/Clock button in the bottom right corner of the panel.
  • To change the hour, click the 0.0/Set button on the left. The clock advances with a single press, while holding causes the numerals to advance more quickly.
  • To change the minutes, press the Menu/Clock button once more.
  • Press the 0.0/Set button once more to make the adjustment; press twice to change quickly.
  • For the process to be finished, press the Menu/Clock button.

The multifunction buttons on the keyboard can also be used to locate the Time settings in the Settings menu, but this is the quickest way to adjust the time on your Volkswagen instrument panel. The clock can also be adjusted to 24-hour mode or to automatically adapt for daylight saving time by turning on the feature. In some models, changing the time with the steering-wheel controls only affects the time as it relates to the key that was pressed.
