At night, this was very irritating.
It’s mind-boggling that there isn’t an auto-dipping left outside mirror. I find it incomprehensible that any car with parking sensors does not come equipped with this as standard.
Exterior
The Outlander PHEV is difficult to distinguish from the standard petrol or diesel Outlander from the outside. With the exception of some different chrome trim up front, the only real distinction between the PHEV variants is that they have different wheels.
The track and wheelbase proportions, along with the doors and the front and rear overhang, are all perfect. The Red Diamond premium paint finish on our test car looked fantastic.
The PHEV connection point is located at the back and has numerous connecting possibilities for all scenarios. With the ingenious twin-motor setup, the ground clearance is also quite good, posing very little risk of doing too much damage if you go off-road in 44 mode.
