Is Thor From Ghosts In A Lexus Commercial

Hello and thanks for reading our article about the Lexus LX 600 ad. To learn more about advertising you may have recently seen on TV or streaming, feel free to visit the Popular TV Ads page, which I’ve written about quite a few of. The lovely Lexus LX 600 is the subject of today’s post, but it’s really about the actors and music in the advertisement down below. View, then scroll down for more details!

Those actors. In the advertisement, Lexus displays three diverse job categories: a CEO, a surgeon, and an athlete. Xavier Jimenez, an actor and model, plays the athlete. Visit his IMDB website to view his incredible list of acting credits, and be sure to follow him on Instagram.

Actress Mikaela Kim serves as the executive. She may also be known by the name Mikaela Jiyeon. More details about her daily life can be found on her Instagram.

Josh Reynolds, an actor, is the surgeon. See more of Josh’s work on his Instagram feed.

The Sound. Unfortunately, neither streaming music services nor physical stores will provide this song for sale. It is an original composition by a group of brilliant people. Creative director Zac Colwell founded Squeak E. Clean Studios. This was a “huge percussion jam with live instruments,” according to Zac.

I’ll add my two cents in that a live drum set always beats (get it?) an electronic one. Do you not agree? Simply said, they sound better. Visit Squeak E. Clean’s website to see all the innovative things they are up to.

I’ll wrap up this essay with one of the first percussion-heavy Lexus TV ads from thirty years ago. Here is an LS 400 advertisement.

Who is the ghosts’ Viking?

  • Alberta Haynes, a flamboyant jazz singer from the Prohibition era who passed away after ingesting poisoned moonshine, is portrayed by Danielle Pinnock. [10] The living can hear her humming. [8] Alexa-enabled gadgets can hear her.
  • Thorfinn, the oldest ghost and a Viking who set out on an expedition to North America but was abandoned by his shipmates and perished in a lightning strike, is played by Devan Chandler Long. Lights can flicker because of him. He resembles Robin the caveman from the first British series in various ways. [8]
  • Asher Grodman plays Trevor Lefkowitz, the most recent ghost to pass away. Lefkowitz was a successful Wall Street tycoon and hard-partying corporate executive who passed away in 2000 from a heart attack brought on by an unintentional drug overdose while without wearing pants. He can have a limited amount of interaction with the physical world, unlike the other ghosts, if he concentrates hard enough. [8] In the original British series, Julian Fawcett MP served as the model for him.
  • Captain Isaac Higgintoot, played by Brandon Scott Jones, was a secretly gay American Revolutionary War officer who passed away from dysentery two weeks after the siege of Fort Ticonderoga[9] and was largely forgotten by history, which made him bitterly envious of the more well-known Alexander Hamilton.
  • [9] A bad odor is detected by a living person if he goes through their body. He is an imitation of the Captain from the first British series.
  • Sasappis is a cynical Lenape Native American played by Romn Zaragoza.
  • [6] He likes watching TV, making up drama, telling stories, and smelling freshly made pizza.
  • Richie Moriarty plays Pete Martino, a Pinecone Trooper leader[7] who was fatally wounded by an arrow that was unintentionally discharged into his neck in 1985 by one of his scouts.
  • [8] In the original British series, Pat Butcher served as the model for him.
  • Sam’s fourth-great-grandmother Hetty Woodstone, the lady of the manor and first owner of the Woodstone country estate, is portrayed by Rebecca Wisocky.
  • [6] She is modeled after Lady Fanny Button from the first British television series.
  • Susan Montero, often known as Flower, a hippie[6] who perished while attempting to approach a wild bear, is played by Sheila Carrasco.
  • [9] If she goes through a living being, she has the ability to put them in a trance that mimics the effects of marijuana. [11]

Why is Thorfinn no longer on Ghosts?

Along with his Canadian shipmates, Thorfinn sailed down the coast in quest of furs interior. He was then abandoned “for reasons unknown.” [1]

Death

While Thorfinn was out hunting sometime after his shipmates deserted him, a severe thunderstorm began to develop. Before he could seek cover, a lightning bolt attracted to his helmet struck him in the head, quickly killing him. His bones were finally buried in the ground on the site where Woodstone Manor would eventually be constructed as his flesh rotted away over time.

Later, his remains were discovered under the fountain in front of Woodstone Manor.

Why does the ghostly character lack pants?

Instead of contacting the police, Trevor’s purported friends called their fathers for assistance. They ultimately determined that throwing Trevor’s body into the lake outside the mansion would be the best course of action for protecting themselves.

Sasappis doubled down with the revelations, saying he knew Trevor wouldn’t have done the same thing because he knows how Trevor actually lost his pants. This was in response to Trevor’s attempts to defend his former friends as still being “kids” who were “barely 30” and claim that he would have done the same thing.

It turns out that another new hire had joined the finance guys at the mansion, and this poor guy was going to have to make his way back to the city with no pants and no money as part of a humiliating hazing rite they’d apparently all had to through.

According to Grodman, the sequence was actually based on the father of co-creator Joe Port. He had opposed hazing at his own university long before it was criticized in a more widespread and socially acceptable way.

In 1990, the year of his passing, Trevor committed the same act of rebellion against the ritual as Port’s father. According to Grodman, “you go from an episode where it’s as light, lighthearted, and silly as someone missing a pair of pants, and then realize that it’s kind of a statement on group dynamics, how we treat each other, bullying, hazing, and things of that nature.”
