Through the Vehicle settings menu, mirror dip can be enabled or removed. Look at the INSTRUMENT PANEL MENU.
Reverse (R) provides a better viewing angle for reversing by automatically adjusting the door mirrors.
The door mirrors’ dipped position is a predetermined position. R allows you to move the door mirrors and preserve the new setting.
Press the memory save button with the car in R. (M). To save the reverse mirror dip position to the appropriate memory position, choose memory 1, 2, or 3. Check out SEAT POSITION MEMORY.
There are three alternative reverse mirror dip positions that can be saved by pressing the memory save button. To recall the saved positions, use the memory recall function.
The door mirrors return to their original position once the gear selector is removed from R.
Mirror dip is a feature unique to certain vehicles. The mirrors return to their usual position for improved visibility if the car is moving at a speed greater than 12 km/h (7 mph) in R.

When in reverse, why do side mirrors slant down?
