Aircharge is a standard feature that can be found on the tray beneath the infotainment system on the majority of the Lexus RX line’s more recent model years. Unfortunately, larger smartphones, sometimes known as “phablets,” such as the Samsung S8 Plus and iPhone Plus models, are incompatible. You still need a suitable Aircharge cover for smaller versions like the iPhone 6, iPhone 7, etc. Therefore, even if the answer is technically “yes,” that it has wireless charging, it is a proprietary system that isn’t compatible with other phones, even those that have it. I think it’s a little misleading to advertise Aircharge as “wireless charging” because it requires additional equipment and doesn’t adhere to the same standards as the majority of phone makers. Leaving my personal preferences aside, the Lexus RX350 does, in fact, support wireless charging.

It seems like a strange strategy for a luxury business. Children can be entertained in the backseat, but there is no in-car Internet to assist move things along for the sake of tranquility. The only remedy, which isn’t always optimal, is to utilize your smartphone as a hotspot.
The Qi-enabled wireless charging mat is tucked into the dash in front of the shifter, making access a little difficult, but it still functions. As several other automakers have done, particularly BMW and Mercedes-Benz, it is solely for charging, so whatever device is lying on it won’t interact with the system. However, if linked while charging, the phone can still make and receive calls and play music.
In the business, voice-prompted climate control should be more prevalent, but it isn’t. More automakers are trying it, and Lexus excels at it in this instance. It was easy for me to make it warmer or to verbally control the temperature inside.

Now, this space is almost exactly the size of the iPhone 5, which fit in the space with barely a few centimeters to spare and wouldn’t fit if the phone was plugged into the charger; it doubles as a place to keep tiny objects, such as coins or mint tins.

The forward cup holder’s floor may push down to accept extra-large cups or water bottles, and a touch of a button raises it back up again. The designers also considered what you put in your cup holders and incorporated a creative feature. Now, when we turn a corner, my large Trader Joe’s water bottle won’t fall out of the cup holder.
Last but not least, a second “stuff pocket” was added to the center console’s passenger side. This is an excellent spot to store your phone or egads!
