When will an Audi Q4 e-tron be available?

Unsurprisingly, the 2022 Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron will initially be available in Europe. The Q4 e-tron should start arriving at dealerships there in June; the Sportback will follow a little later, arriving in the late Summer. Meanwhile, the US needs to exercise much greater patience.

According to Audi, availability for North America is still being finalized. The Q4 e-tron is currently scheduled to enter US dealerships at the tail end of 2021. However, it’s probable that, at least on day one, not every trim will be included.

Audi has started EV launches in the past with a unique launch version of one of its vehicles. These vehicles, known as the Q4 e-tron Edition One in this instance, have been confirmed for Europe but not the US as of yet. They’ll provide two shades. It takes 38 minutes to charge from 5 to 80 percent using DC fast charging. The Q4 e-combined tron’s output is 220 kilowatts (295 horsepower) and 339 pound-feet of torque. Sprints are completed in 6.2 seconds, which is a respectably swift time from 0 to 100 km/h.

Wheels between 19 and 20 inches are available. Instead of a traditional shift lever, the interior’s minimalist design includes shift buttons on the center console, an 11.6-inch center touchscreen, and Audi’s Virtual Cockpit in place of the standard instruments.

So what is the price of the 2022 Audi Q4 e-tron? There are three trim levels available, Komfort ($59,950), Progressiv ($65,350), and Technik ($68,350), the first of which is more cheap than the XC40 Recharge ($64,950) among luxury electric SUVs in Canada. Customers in Quebec are in luck since the provincial government will give them a $8,000 rebate because the basic MSRP is less than $60,000. Wow, what a deal!

With these prices, the Audi Q5 plug-in hybrid model (beginning at $70,900) looks much less appealing now, especially considering its meager 37 kilometers of zero-emissions range.

Audi Q4: Is it larger than Q3?

However, there is some pleasure in accelerating. As with most electric vehicles, the numbers on paper don’t truly tell the whole story. The 0-62mph speed is 8.5 seconds (0.4 seconds faster than the EQA). The Q4 has a rapid departure from the line at low speeds, especially in Dynamic mode where the throttle response is at its sharpest, but that energetic performance is still present at highway speeds as well.

The fact that the electric powertrain is significantly simpler to package is one advantage of an EV platform. Compared to a combustion engine, an electric motor is far smaller, and the battery can be kept underneath the floor. Few vehicles are able to utilize space as effectively as those in the MEB family, thanks in large part to the Volkswagen Group’s effective utilization of this advantage.

The Q4 e-tron is the same. With 4,588mm, it is only modestly 104mm longer than Audi’s Q3 and 125mm longer than the Mercedes EQA, but the inside is much larger than any of those vehicles. The floor is almost entirely flat, and the rear legroom is a particular feature. As a result, it is more than ample even with three persons seated across the back row. Although the door bins are a touch small, headroom is also excellent, and there are many creative storage choices up front to help hide away various treasures.

What distinguishes e-tron from Q4 e-tron?

What country produces the Audi Q4 e-tron?

Germany Audi intends to use its plant in Brussels to manufacture the recently released Q4 e-tron full-electric SUV.

Due to strong demand for the SUV, Audi is increasing excess Q4 e-tron production in Brussels, according to corporate sources. The VW ID3 and ID4 as well as the Cupra Born models are now produced in VW’s plant in Zwickau, Germany, along with the Q4 e-tron. The MEB electric-car platform from VW Group is used by all of the EVs.
