Well, it’s kind of like an SUV meets a wagon. However, it’s more of an SUV than a wagon. So, Euro wagon maniacs, hold off on your excitement. Surprisingly, the e-EPA tron’s range is only 204 miles, which is about 30 miles shorter than the ranges of both the Jaguar I-Pace and Musk’s recently canceled base Model X. Additionally, the Model X Long Range model has a staggering 325-mile range. The next Mercedes EQC appears to be in the same position as the Audi in terms of battery efficiency. That ought should reassure Mr. Musk. However, the e-tron still has many advantages over the Tesla Model S, including Audi’s stronger dealer network. Here is how I would configure an Audi e-tron if I were to buy one.
I’m fairly dull when it comes to exterior color, so I’m tempted by Manhattan Gray, Typhoon Gray, or Florett Silver. But I’ll choose the Antigua Blue here and go a little crazy. Moreover, while the foldable cargo box from Audi is intriguing, I don’t need it, and it’s not worth $75.
