Are there parking sensors in an Audi?
Eight ultrasonic sensors make up the Audi Front and Rear Optical Parking Sensors, commonly known as “Audi Parking Systems Plus,” an Advanced Parking System that offers comprehensive help when parking the vehicle. An audible tone and graphical representation on the MMI Screen warn the driver whenever the distance to an impediment in the front or rear is less than a predetermined minimum. The tone accelerates as you approach an obstruction until you are less than 25 cm away, at which point it becomes continuous. When an obstacle is detected*, reverse gear is engaged, or the parking switch is pressed manually, the system is automatically triggered.
For vehicles without sensors, there is a Front and Rear option available. For vehicles with rear factory sensors already fitted, there is a Front Only option available. Please refer to the list of options below.

Do the front parking sensors on the Audi Q3 work?
Consider purchasing an Audi Q3? Good decision, however if you’re unsure which Audi Q3 spec to select, our straightforward guide will assist you.
Top Audi Q3 specifications Choose a 2.0-litre diesel engine; they are adaptable, refined, and far less expensive to maintain than the gasoline engines. Even the 138 bhp diesel, which has less power, is powerful enough, but if you want four-wheel drive or a (semi-) automatic transmission, you must choose the 175 bhp model.
2 Audi Parking System Plus, which costs just 250 and has front and rear parking sensors, is a must if you want to keep the bumpers on your Q3 from becoming scratched.
5 Selecting the 305 DAB radio will help you maintain the highest potential resale value for the vehicle.
6 Maintain regular suspension; S line suspension is an optional extra for S line vehicles, but the Q3 rides better and handles just as well without it.
